Just a word upfront
When I was putting the 2010 information togeter, I realized that I've been a little lazy with taking pictures during this year. There still are a few, but the progress and before/after sometimes don't show too well. But I can assure you: It's all well!
Living Room TV and entertainment:
I know from previous guests that this upgrade was expected. Yes, we're in more modern times now - so the old, still good working TV had to give space for something modern. Here it is:
- New TV (46" Full HD 120HZ) wall mounted
- All cables in the wall
- Background light (very nice feature)
- Surround Sound System
- Blu Ray Player
- Play Station
- misc. hook ups for your own equipment

Spa and patio:
This really was a nice addition to my place. The spa is sitting outside, facing the lake but still is placed under a roof.
This is not just a SPA. It's been specially build to fit in on the spot on the patio. It also had been specially build to ensure great usability for a rental environment.
- Two pump (jet speeds)
- LED color changing, energy efficient light
- Custom cover holder. Who wants to mess with the cover? This is a hassle free and very quick open/close solution.
- Powerful 5.5kW heater to ensure heating won't take longer than necessary. I could not find a heater with more power or it would be installed by now.
- Digital temperature control.
- Automatic water filler to remain a perfect water level.
- Easy access with two steps.
It was not just installing the spa, there was more involved.
- Run heavy duty wiring to support the electrical needs without any of the wires being visible on the walls.
- New access to and from the patio to remove the cover and put it back on
- Rustic wooden western style door.

Kitchen floor & more:
As you can see: The old floor was... So it had to go
- New floor in a brighter and more friendly color installed
- Changed out old clutter and pictures, which has been replaced with some nice new artwork and some pictures from Canyon Lake
- The old TV had to make space for a new flat one.
Doesn't the new floor make a big difference? |

Burglary bars:
No more burglary bars! Who wants to feel like being in jail? Before you ask: No, the house is not in a high crime area. The burglary bars had been from the old days when this was pretty much the only place in the area. Gave the original owner a more secure feeling.
- Burglary bars removed
- Rustic wooden western style shutters had been installed around the house.

Carport gravel:
- Well - this gravel had served it's purpose. It was time to put something more friendly in the same spot.

Pool pump:
This actually was a very nice upgrade. The old and widly used pool pump was noisy and did use do much energy.
A good amount of $$ later there is a very quiet and efficient pump circulating the water trough the filters now.
Sorry, no pictures.
