The pool is an oval in ground concrete pool.
The pool is more shallow on one side (approx 3 ft) where the steps are and gets deeper towards the other side. Deepest spot is approx. 5ft. On the deep side there is a seat in the water for 2 persons. So you can just sit and enjoy the water and the Texas sun.
The poll is lighted - so you're able to go swimming at dawn or night.
Usually the pool will always be open while the house is rented out, even if you don't want to use it - than it's just for the good looking. If for whatever reason you'd prefer the pool being closed, please let us know at least one week prior arrival, better at the time of booking. Please be aware: Even if the pool cover is heavy duty, nobody ever can walk on the cover itself.
Please be aware: Having a pool is always making some kind of work, especially if it's not a community pool. To keep the expenses as low as possible we ask you to clean the leaf basket at least every second day. This will help keep the water in a good and sparkling clear condition.
If you stay more than one week, there will be a pool cleaner coming approx. once a week for cleaning the pool and checking the chemical level. In the meantime, if you feel that there are too many leafs etc in the water you can use the leaf catcher and remove them whenever needed.
